    COMPUTER LABS

There are many ways to help get computers to schools in Guatemala:

. DONATE USED COMPUTERS, monitors, keyboards, mice, and printers. Hard drives are especially needed because companies have donated good CPU’s without hard drives.

. HELP PACK COMPUTERS kids who need community service can help fix and/or pack computers.
. ASK FRIENDS FOR USED COMPUTERS. Old computers are perfect for helping kids learn basic computer skills.

. DONATE FUNDS.
IT COSTS ABOUT $65 to pack and ship a computer system (tower, monitor, keyboard and mouse) from Connecticut to a warehouse in Guatemala).

HELP FUND PRIMARY, SECONDARY AND UNIVERSITY LEVEL SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Help a student through higher education through the Quaker Scholarship/Loan Program, about $1000 per year for four to six years. Or make a donation to the Quakers who will combine it with other donations.

2. Help a primary school student through Friends of Guatemala (returned Peace Corps Volunteers), about $250 per year. Smaller donations will be combined.
